Gnostic lectures by "Samuel Aun Weor" were quite insightful. I studied the works of Carl Jung and lived much of what he spoke of, through him, I found Samuel Aun Weor.

What does "Gnostic" mean?
Gnostic means "Knowing", Not in the sense of learning through the 5 senses but rather your consciousness merges with Divine consciousness and then you are Knowing. Awareness of inner Being is the beginning of this process. It grows and it grows and I do no know if it ever stops growing! In "The Gospel Of Thomas" he speaks of the way to it as "Seek and Keep seeking!" A certain persistence is needed to break free. The cure to all Dis-Ease is found in the Light which transcends all other Light. I have not yet reached it but every once in a while, a Light seems to be near! I can see it as I drift off to sleep.

Inner body, watching thoughts, looking at space, stillness---?

But have you heard of "the ego's motto is seek but don't find."? I know many seekers who enjoy seeking- not finding. (not You!)I have run into many who speak of knowing but clearly are still stuck in intellect. Painful self-honesty is still quite elusive! It took a shock to bring me from intellect into Being, and some(if not most)require a shock to Awaken. I just came from a forum like that.... spiritualforums.com(now shut down). The moderators and administrators liked to bully others into Belief. Sometimes they were right in the sentence structure but the spirit was not in the meaning. They even had the terms "Being/Accepting/Letting Go/Let it be/Forgiveness" but in a false light like "Accept my bully tactic and "Accept" me as I am by Letting go of your idea about a Divine Source and forgive me for my rude attack." Yet even this was learning. I let it go and left the forum in Divine hands. If I could not speak Freely to aid as Spirit seeks to aid through me, I would seek a new avenue of Freed Consciousness expression. Then I heard the founder of the site died of a heart attack. No-one took over the forum and it is now defunct........
I came close to a heart attack once but I changed my mind and chose to forgive. The approaching heart attack instead became a portal into Divine Consciousness through a conscious choice to let go of the hate and forgive/Love. Sadly we can memorize the words and entirely miss the Spirit behind the words. It is the finding! "I was a hidden treasure that wanted to be known."A certain persistence is needed to break free. Powerful tools. Yes,......... After the Spirit brought healing to the heart, I was drawn to certain works and a profound expansion of Truth began to take over. "The Power Of Now" was one of those transforming works which is still at work within. I do not try to understand it ............I just understand it and then watch it unfold in experiences. Some call it an 'Inspiring' book, I call it a 'Transforming' book.

I heard that. But I suspect why!

Agree.

Good insight.

Thanks for sharing this. I was a member there, but didn’t post much or check it much. I think two times I was on a thread and both times got into a fight. ha! (actually I’m pretty feisty) The guy who was the “opponent” of phroggy and me was banned.
I bet the regulars are freaking out at the site closing. I would not be surprised if a new one doesn’t pop up.
I knew about your “struggles” there at the last. But for me it was a good thing. Without you taking a break, I would not have known about you. In fact, I would not be on this forum. (yup, there’s a story there!)
I came close to a heart attack once but I changed my mind and chose to forgive.
Wow!
The approaching heart attack instead became a portal into Divine Consciousness through a conscious choice to let go of the hate and forgive/Love.

Amen! Have you watched any of the videos or dvd’s? I watched The Flowering of Consciousness after I read the book. I love the book, but it was that video that just knocked me out!

Story-
I’ve lived in the woods for 17 years. I’ve spent a lot of time in nature- and oh the stories, the glories, and the heartbreaks too! I have found many things in nature. I have found many treasures in nature.
For many years I collected bits of nature. It was kind of like a treasure hunt. (Just like a kid!) Like I found many turtle shells and all of their markings and colors and shapes were different. And dozens of bird feathers from different birds. (My most thrilling was a hawk feather.) And tiny bones or a shed snake skin. And many awesome sightings, like two eagles fighting each other right above my head! Just all sorts of neat things!
But one thing I never found was a naturally shed deer antler. This is the only thing that I had wanted that I had not received. This is something I wanted since I’ve been here. I am Not a hunter. I would never want an antler that came from harming a deer. It had to be natural.
We feed the deer cracked corn year round. Does are regulars, and the occasional fawn or twin fawns- adorable! But bucks are rare. And when I would see one, by peeking out my window, it was very exciting! They shed their antlers in January-February, and I always had an eye out for a shed antler- but nothing. This year three bucks with antlers came to eat the corn! It was amazing. They have come regularly. I noticed that a couple of them had only one antler left. My biggest happiness is that the hunters missed them!
After I went off the forum, I soon was outside walking on a path in our woods. This path was on a hill, pretty steep. I walked about a quarter of the way down, and--- Looked down--- and--- what’s that? I bent down to pick it up. It had leaves stuck to it, my mind knew what it was, but I was honestly in shock! I could not comprehend it. I held it in my hands and pulled the leaves off of it. It was white and smooth and had points. My Antlers!!! I was just stunned! I was SO happy. They are medium size, and Lovely! It was such a Gift! Then that night FIVE bucks came to eat the corn. Never have I seen that many here. It was fantastic!
Sparrowhawk- you’re good luck!!!!

I am not the luck. But that reminds me of an experience.
It was December of 2008 and I was walking down the street. I saw a man holding a sign and figured he had no home. I was wrong. My body reacted and turned to avoid him. That puzzled me??? I heard a soft still voice say "Go and talk with him". I listened and did just that. He was up here looking for work because he could not find any in his area. Someone told him there were jobs up here. He was 500 miles from home and had no means to return. His sign was simple, it said "I need Help!". He was a peaceful soul and I could see in his eyes a certain sincerity of the heart. I said "I have no money but if you do not mind I will keep you company until you have what you need." He chuckled and we talked for awhile.
I saw him out there for a couple days but did not see anyone stop to aid him. After a half hour a couple approached and gave him $20. His eyes lit up as he said "thank-you and God bless you". They left and he turned to me and said "You are my good luck charm, a couple more people like that and I am getting a bus ticket and going home!"
Then I watched as another person stopped and gave him a $20. Then another and another! We talked for about an hour. In that time he received what he needed. He did not wish to stay and collect one penny more than he needed. He grabbed his bag and said "I'm going home, God bless you and thank-you for stopping to chat."
The story has a great lesson in it, actually a few! When I let go of my fear others around let go of their fear. Help is not always money. Sometimes it is. In this case it was both. Even when we are broke we can still give. There is no reason to fear strangers if we make them our friends.

I said "I have no money but if you do not mind I will keep you company until you have what you need." Wow! This is how I felt when I read this sentence. It's just awesome!

My mother always tell me that personal change is the most effective way to change the world. In this book, you will learn the practical science to make your world and your self an expression of the Divine. It is a very good and really an insightful book for all of us.

My friend gave me a DVD video about this gnostic lectures from Samael Aun Weor. The lecture was very aspiring. The lecturer speaks openly about a wide range of spiritual matters in these impressive transcripts of interviews and lectures.
