Spiritual Journey

The spiritual journey is a solitary trek. Others may inspire you along, encourage you along, even counsel you along, but ultimately your spiritual journey is a “walk” you must make alone. Though the destination is the same for all of us, the journey itself is a highly personal experience. Your spiritual journey will be different from his spiritual journey and her spiritual journey, yet each of your journeys is destined for the same place. Everything in life comes and goes full circle. We all emerge from the same Source and we are all returning to this very same Source. This emerging and returning, that’s the journey. It’s a voyage of inner discovery – as unique for each soul as each soul is unique. We are All distinct expressions of Life yet we are All indissolubly bond through Life, and we are All (in our own unique way) going back home to the heart of our Being. Think of this homecoming as a potluck of sorts for all of our varying perspectives and experiences. We’ve all gone out and traveled our own course in touring this grand scene we call life! This is why each of us sees and experiences the world different from everything else. But all of our personal views and undergoings are even right now culminating in a grand coming together in Spirit (which is the single inner witness of All that happens, All that’s thought, All that’s gone through…). Everything in Life has life. And we, the souls (the expressions of Life), each bring with us our own stories to contribute to this gathering we are all en route to. Each of us is carrying with us the evolution of our personal life outlook which is what shapes our particular experience in life. And it is precisely this ultimate unifying of each of our life experiences that makes this supreme destination of awakening (which All expressions of Life are rousing to) so rich. There is only one Life, we are All one in Spirit, but there are an infinite number of expressions of this one Life – all at different stages of awakening, all evolving at different and ever fluctuating rates. But that’s exactly as it should be for diversity is how Life (or Spirit, or even God if you will) demonstrates Its limitlessness.
