Spiritual Laws

Spiritual laws are the supreme principles which govern the conditions of life. The extent of your acceptance of spiritual ideals is what determines your experience in life. You may observe or disregard the ideals of Spirit to any degree you choose for there is nothing compelling you to adhere to Spiritual Law. Your adherence to the Law is a choice, not an imposition. That’s the liberty of freewill. You have the freedom to choose ideals which are less pure than the principles of spiritual law. However (be aware that) this choice to think and act contrary to the reality which is Spirit does produce destructive consequences. These destructive consequences are not for the purpose of punishment, however, but are intended to serve as instruction (as learning experiences). They come about to help you learn that the only way to secure peace of mind is to be more and more accepting of spiritual law. The more your thoughts and actions line up in accordance with spiritual law, the more contentment you will enjoy in your life experience. The more your thoughts and actions diverge from spiritual law, the more distress you will suffer in your life experience. (Note the use of the word experience as opposed to the word situation. For you are certain to go through many trying and challenging situations in your life but your experience amid these situations is not determined by the physical conditions you are faced with, but rather how you choose to meet these circumstances you find yourself in).
