The Holographic Universe - Beyond Matter
This is a really cool short documentary which makes a very compelling case for the holographic nature of the universe. It argues that matter has no existence outside of the mind; that the manifest universe is merely your mind’s interpretation of electrical signals picked up from an energy field. All of creation is but a metal perception.

PBS’s The Elegant Universe
This 3 hour NOVA PBS documentary explores the principles behind the idea of “String Theory” (an evolution of Einstein’s much sought after Theory of Everything). String Theory is the unification of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity with the principles of quantum mechanics, it is the union of the principles of operation for the very large with principles of operation for the very small. Very interesting theory to contemplate and it is presented in way which is very easy to understand.



PBS’s Hunting the Hidden Dimension
This 1 hour NOVA PBS documentary explains the mathematical concept of fractals. Fractals are the repeating geometrical patterns which make up the forms in nature. It is nature’s way of physically showing us that the Principle of Correspondence, “As above, so below. As below, so above,” works to reveal how something seemingly complex is actually founded on something which is exceedingly simple.

Dale Pond explains the basic principles behind sympathetic vibratory physics (SVP), a field of science explored in depth by the nineteenth century inventor John Worrell Keely. Pond draws from the example of Keely’s invention of an Etheric powered motor (highlighting the principles that power the motor), metaphysic philosophy, music theory and plain everyday examples to illustrate the holistic nature of the universe. The longer you watch this lecture the more eye-opening it gets.

What the Bleep!? - Down the Rabbit Hole
What the Bleep Do We Know? lays out some of the theories offered in quantum mechanics in a very entertaining and simple way. If you are unfamiliar with the basics of this field of science, this might be a good introduction. The unapologetic purpose of this video is to try to prove the truth of oneness through the application of quantum theory. This video does an excellent job of challenging the traditional perceptions of reality. What I found to be a bit off putting though was the outright dismissal of the idea that religion may offer any value to the development of spirituality. This religion bashing begins midway through the film and for me it introduces a harsh tone to an otherwise beautifully orchestrated and thought provoking presentation. I am not at all a religious person myself, so I wasn’t personally offended by this turn in the narrative. But being one who does recognize that along with all the dogma there is a tremendous wealth of wisdom that may be mined from many religious texts. I found this film’s one-dimensional way of portraying religion to be somewhat condescending. It is a tactic that I think unnecessarily compromises the credibility of its overall argument, that argument being that All is One. On the whole, however, this is a well put together, engaging presentation of an intriguing concept. Well worth the price of admission. Here’s a sample. If you like it, support the creators and buy it.
